Firstly, the flight began to experience trouble approximately 14 minutes before the crash based on its dramatic change in altitude. Despite there being an obvious emergency the flight continued on a straight path without requesting an emergency landing. Only two plausible scenarios can really explain this observation. Either there was a sudden loss of cabin pressure or the pilots were under duress. Was there mystery cargo that caused a failure of the hull integrity? Was there an explosive device? Were there terrorists on board or was this another political distraction?
